
The League of Women Voters of Wellesley will host Meet the Candidates Night virtually on Thursday, February 11 at 7 p.m. Voters are invited to watch live on local cable TV channels Comcast 9/Verizon 39, or online live and on demand at https://www.wellesleymedia.org/live-streaming.html.
The League of Women Voters of Wellesley is nonpartisan; it neither supports no opposes candidates for office. In sponsoring an unbiased candidate event, the League’s goal is to assist voters make informed choices as they cast their votes, either by Vote-By-Mail or in person at the polls, in Wellesley’s Annual Town Election on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
Voters may submit questions for candidates by email: voterservice.lwvw@gmail.com. Questions will be screened for: lack of bias, relevance, and applicability to all candidates for each office.
There will be no print version of the League’s Election Guide this year. The Guide will be available online by February 11 at www.vote411.org. and can be found on the LWV of Wellesley’s website: lwvwellesley.org.
The last day to register to vote in the March 2, 2021 Annual Town Election is February 10. Registered voters may request a vote-by-mail ballot from the Town Clerk’s office by February 24. Completed ballots may be dropped off in the Election Drop Box at Town Hall before 8 PM on election day. Polls will be open for in-person voting on March 2 from 7:00AM – 8:00PM.
