The discussion will focus on how Covid 19 has highlighted the racial and economic disparities affecting the essential workforce. We will explore who are essential workers and why there are high levels of inequity in how we value and compensate different groups of essential workers.
We are planning to have two presenters: Smriti Rao who is a Professor of Economics at Assumption University in Worcester and a representative (TBA) from the Metrowest Workers Center.
